Getting to work with both Carolyn Scott and JP Partlow was a dream come true. I have always wanted to do a creative shoot like this, and I couldn’t have done it without them. Originally, we wanted to do an ice cream shoot, but we also ended up getting some editorial photos too. We used a cool background, mirrors, newspaper, sunglasses, and more to achieve the look of these photos!
We took these photos at JP’s house with an amazing background. I don’t have much experience shooting indoors, so this was very fun to try out. I used so many different props and random materials to take these photos, and I’m very happy with how they came out.
JP is an amazing creative director, and she proved this by styling Carolyn in an outfit made from scraps of fabric. Her first look was playful and cute with a pastel yellow skirt and top. Carolyn’s second look was more casual with jean shorts and a green top that I edited to be teal in order to match her makeup. Carolyn showcased three hairstyles during this shoot thanks to JP’s talent.
I am a photographer based in Augusta, Georgia, but I also love to travel to surrounding areas. To get in touch with me, please visit my contact form here! You can find Carolyn and JP on their Instagram pages, @carscottmodelpage and @prissy_kid.
