Graduation sessions are some of my favorites. The energy is so full of excitement for everything that’s ahead. It’s such a bittersweet season, and I know how meaningful it will be to look back on this moment with so much fondness. Lia’s session was no different. She was glowing with happiness and anticipation, and I feel like that joy shines through in every single photo.

Lia chose Hammond’s Ferry in North Augusta for her session, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Just last year, I photographed her sister’s graduation session there as well. Getting to return to the same spot and capture another milestone for their family felt so meaningful and full circle.

Lia wore a white dress with black heels, along with her cap and gown for the session. I loved how timeless and effortless her outfit felt. The white dress gave such a soft, clean look on camera. Her cap and gown tied everything together so perfectly, celebrating the moment while still allowing her personality to shine through.

Sessions like Lia’s are such a beautiful reminder of how meaningful this season of life truly is. It’s more than just celebrating an accomplishment, it’s about honoring who you are in this moment and everything that lies ahead. I feel so grateful to have been a small part of capturing that for her.
I’m a photographer based in Augusta, Georgia, and I also love traveling to surrounding areas to capture meaningful stories wherever they unfold. If you’d like to connect with me or book your own session, you can reach out through my contact form here!
