For our final maternity shoot, my sister requested photos in the same outfits from her previous pregnancy session a few years back. Towards the end of the shoot, we also captured some beautiful boho-inspired shots. In this blog post, I’ll share some of the photos from this session while giving tips for your own maternity photoshoot. From choosing the perfect outfits to exploring different styles, you’ll find inspiration and advice to make your own maternity photoshoot a great experience.
Alyssa and I returned to the same stunning waterfront park where we had our maternity shoot back in 2021. This picturesque location is ideal for capturing dreamy maternity photos, and it also lends itself beautifully to a boho-inspired backdrop. I highly recommend choosing a location that compliments your theme, outfit, and personality! Alyssa enjoys going on nature walks with her family, so this was the perfect location that matched her!
For her final shoot with me, Alyssa chose three outfits that each brought a unique touch to the session. She began with a stunning pink maternity dress, a favorite from her previous pregnancy photoshoot in 2021. Next, she wore a sheer white dress that highlighted her belly, a piece she had also featured in our 2021 session. To complete the session with a boho-inspired look, my sister added a beautiful scarf tied around her waist to capture the essence of relaxed, free-spirited style.
